When a new lens is the right fix

- A lens that lets water in through damage in the plastic
A lens that is only hazy or yellow is a cosmetic job, and we do not offer it.
Headlight plastic cover replacement is not a quick DIY
Car headlight cover replacement kits are easy to buy. Fitting one is the hard part.
The lens is bonded to the housing with sealant. It has to be heated off without cracking the housing, then the new lens sealed evenly all the way around.
A gap anywhere lets moisture in, and a fogged or flooded headlight is a new repair.
How the new lens is fitted
Open the headlight
The old lens is separated from the housing and the sealant channel is cleaned.
Fit the new lens
A new outer lens for your model goes on with fresh sealant.
Seal and return
The headlight is sealed and shipped back to you.

Headlight cover repair on your original headlight
We do not sell covers or kits: the new cover is fitted to your own headlight. Only the outer lens is replaced. The housing, reflectors and electronics stay the factory parts made for your car.
The headlight keeps its fit, and it still matches the one on the other side. There is no complete headlight to order and wait for.

Is cracked headlight lens repair possible without a new lens?
