Dodge Ram headlight on an older truck
If you still call it a Dodge Ram, the question is the same: is it the bulb, the wiring or the headlight itself?
On a halogen headlight, a dark beam is usually the bulb, so try that first. On a 4th gen truck with water inside, or a factory LED headlight that has gone dark, send photos and your quote says what can be repaired.
Ram 3500 headlight: LED out or water inside
The 3500 is quoted the same way: send the year, the trim and a photo of the headlight lit.
If droplets sit behind the lens, the headlight is opened, dried and resealed, as in Headlight Condensation Repair & Resealing. If an LED section has gone dark, mention it in the form.
Halo, accent light or the whole headlight dark
When only the halo or the accent light is out, the low and high beams may still work. That one section is what we look at, as in LED Headlight Repair. Tell us the symptom and we'll confirm whether the LED or DRL module can be repaired.
When the whole side goes dark on a factory LED headlight, check the fuse first, then send a photo of both sides lit.
A cracked or chipped outer lens? Tell us what happened to the lens and we will confirm whether the outer lens can be replaced on your headlight.
Aftermarket LED sets and the truck's wiring are not something we repair. For those, a local truck shop is the right first stop.
Repairing the headlight your truck came with keeps the factory fit, the same light on both sides and the part you already own. If your model year has an open recall or an extended warranty from the manufacturer, check with your dealer first.
