LED headlight flickering: bulb or built-in LED?
There are two kinds of LED headlight, and they fail in different ways.
- Retrofit LED bulb: a plug-in bulb in a halogen headlight. A flicker here is usually the bulb or the car's bulb check, and you swap it at home.
- Factory LED headlight: the LEDs are mounted on boards sealed inside the housing. No bulb to swap, so a flicker means a part inside has to be repaired.

A dashboard light warning, a flicker that comes and goes, or one headlight dimmer than the other are the usual first signs.
A real flicker fix, not a resistor
Anti-flicker harnesses and resistors are made for retrofit bulbs. In a factory unit the flicker comes from a failing board, driver or connection, so the lasting LED headlight flicker fix is to repair that part.

A factory LED headlight is matched to your car: its beam pattern, its light color and the headlight on the other side. Repairing the failed board or driver keeps all of that.

How do I know if my car has factory LED headlights?
Look for LED strips or segments behind the lens and no bulb access cap on the back of the housing. If you are not sure, add photos to your quote request.
Do you sell or install LED bulbs?
No. We only repair factory LED headlights and other headlights inside their original housing.
