The Q7 daytime running light that dims, yellows or goes out
On later first-generation Q7s (4L), the xenon headlights carry an LED daytime running light strip. Typical signs that it is failing:
- One side looks yellow or dimmer than the other
- Part of the strip stays dark while the rest lights
- The strip flickers or goes out, sometimes with a warning

Second-generation Q7 LED faults
The second-generation Q7 (4M) uses LED headlights with their own control electronics. A beam that fails, a segment that stays dark or a lamp warning usually traces back to an LED module or driver inside the unit.
