Escalade daytime running light strip going dark
The tall daytime running lights are a big part of how an Escalade looks. If part of the strip goes dim or dark, the two sides no longer match.
The strip and its driver sit inside the headlight, so the unit is opened and resealed to reach them, as described in DRL Repair (Daytime Running Lights).
Moisture inside an Escalade headlight
Light fog that clears as the headlight warms up can be normal. Droplets that stay, or water at the bottom of the lens, point to a failed seal, and over time water can reach the LEDs.

How do I know the fault is in the headlight and not the wiring?
If the connector has power and the light still stays dark, the fault is inside the headlight. Your shop can check that before removing it.
Can I send just one headlight?
Yes. Send the side that failed, or choose both headlights on the quote form if both have the fault.
